Al-Fatihah also encourages performing good deeds, so that the believers will be in the company of the good-doers on the Day of Resurrection. On that Day, the believers will be directed to the gardens of comfort in the company of the Prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs and the righteous. Al-Fatihah directs the believers to invoke Allah to guide them to the straight path, which is the true religion, and to help them remain on that path in this life, and to pass over the actual Sirat (bridge over hell that everyone must pass over) on the Day of Judgment.

It also calls to the sincerity of the worship of Allah alone, singling Him out in His divinity, believing in His perfection, being free from the need of any partners, having no rivals nor equals. It also mentions the Hereafter, which is the Day of Resurrection, and directs Allah's servants to ask of Him, invoking Him and declaring that all power and strength comes from Him.
The honorable Surah Al-Fatihah contains seven Ayat including the praise and thanks of Allah, glorifying Him and praising Him by mentioning His most Beautiful Names and most high Attributes. Verse 25-28 establish that Qiyamah is known only to God, and that God takes into account all the deeds of a man when judging him. The Judgement in verse 7, and the Punishment in verse 25, are both references to the Islamic Judgement Day, Yaum al Qiyamah. Verses 20-22 are especially important as Monotheism (tawhid) among the Jinn is reaffirmed and the inescapable wrath of God is emphasized. The jinn apologize for their past blasphemy and criticize mankind for either neglecting them or encouraging their disbelief. In the second verse the jinn recant their belief in false gods and venerate Muhammad for his monotheism. In the Quran, it is stated that humans are created from the earth and jinn from smokeless fire in more than one instance. Similar to angels, the Jinn (demon) are spiritual beings invisible to the naked human eye.
The name as well as the topic of this chapter is jinn. S?rat al-Jinn (Arabic: ?, "The Jinn") is the seventy-second chapter of the Quran with 28 verses. Pada ayat tersebut dan ayat-ayat berikutnya diterangkan bahwa Jin sebagai makhluk gaib telah mendengar pembacaan al-Qur'an dan mereka mengikuti ajaran al-Qur'an tersebut. Dinamakan "al-Jinn" yang berarti "Bangsa Jin" diambil dari kata "al-Jinn" yang terdapat pada ayat pertama surah ini. Surah ini tergolong surah Makkiyah dan terdiri atas 28 ayat. Surah Al-Jinn (Arab: ?,"Jin") adalah surah ke-72 dalam Kitab Suci Al-Qur'an.
