Doraemon is stuck in the present time, helping Nobita with various gadgets that he can retrieve from his magic pockets. Nobita is a fourth grader who has the world against him he is stupid, lazy, plain looking, and a coward. Doraemon (Xiao Dingdang/小叮噹 in Chinese, literally means “Little Jingles”) comes to the past to help a little boy named Nobita (Da Xiong/大雄 or “Mighty Hero). The story was created by Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko, this duo was known as Fujiko Fujio. He is supposed to be born in the year 2112. For those of you who are not familiar with Doraemon, Doraemon is a robot cat from the future. The cartoon and the comic books are still going strong until this very day. It was a 30 minutes cartoon show, each episode consisted of 3 different stories.
